Wendy Fisher grew up in the West and has a visceral knowledge of the beauty and natural majesty of her surroundings. Prior to starting Southwest Occasions, Wendy was the Director of Catering at the luxury resort, La Posada de Santa Fe. Wendy’s forte at La Posada was ensuring guests had the ultimate Santa Fe experience by planning very stylized and seamless event weekends. With intimate knowledge of the many extraordinary and unique venues in and around Santa Fe, Wendy planned many very special weddings, rehearsal dinners and outings that clients will always treasure and remember. Wendy was recruited by the award winning Ritz Carlton Hotel in Amelia Island, Florida to develop and build their entire wedding market. Having planned hundreds of lavish affairs for the Ritz Carlton, a few of Wendy's bridal clients included Grammy award winner Susan Tedeschi, a Kennedy family member's wedding, as well as events ranging from 2 to 500 guests.
