Chalet Rio is located just three miles from the Taos Ski Resort, across the road from major hiking trails, and a short drive to Taos. Situated on the banks of the Rio Hondo river, with easy road access, the home is truly a retreat for all seasons. 1,100 square feet, open, spacious floor plan. It's light and bright with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. Central gas (propane) heating controlled by thermostat. A free standing wood burning fireplace adds charm, atmosphere and ambiance. There is a three night minimum rental period. Discounted weekly and monthly rates are available. Also check for special last minute discounts! This is a non-smoking property. Maximum capacity is six guests. Pets on a case by case basis with a security deposit and approval.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
