Taos Mountain Sangha is a non-profit organization dedicated to the practice and teaching of Buddhist principles. From its basis in Insight (Vipassana) and Loving-kindness (Metta) meditation, as well as other traditional forms of Buddhist practice, the community (Sangha) offers group meditations, classes, retreats, talks, and discussions aimed at deepening participants’ practice and understanding. Under the guidance of Marcia Rose, the Sangha welcomes all who are interested in this ancient path of mindful awareness, whatever their background or level of experience. Tara Mandala is a 600-acre Buddhist Retreat Center in Pagosa Springs in the Four Corners area of Southwest Colorado. Tara Mandala center features vast views of the southern San Juan Mountains, with ponds and springs, and retreat cabins for individual retreat. Tara Mandala also hosts summer camping retreats.
