Ru Yi Studio/Gallery offers a quiet sanctuary for those who wish to recapture the culture of ancient China and its healing art forms. Director of Ru Yi Studio/Gallery, Pearl Weng Liang Huang was born in China with education and training in the Chinese traditional cultural arts. After coming to the United States to continue her education, she became involved in the east/west theater synthesis. She is an active member of the Screen Actor's Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Ru Yi Studio/Gallery of Chinese Cultural Arts offers private, intensive training, group workshops and instructions for: Chinese brush calligraphy as healing meditation, Dancing brush energy healing QI Gong, and Tai Ji.

Tamarind Institute is a center for fine art lithography that trains master printers, engages in teaching and research, and houses a professional collaborative studio for artists. Tamarind is recognized internationally for its contributions to the growth of contemporary printmaking around the world.

In the professional shop, master printers work in partnership with artists under publishing agreements or by contract for custom printing to make fine, limited edition lithographs. During its 40 year history, Tamarind has produced an archive (now housed in the University of New Mexico Art Museum) of approximately 10,000 lithographs by artists of diverse aesthetic interests.

Taos School of Metalsmithing and Lapidary Design offers beginning through advanced classes in jewelry making and stone cutting. Small group classes and individual instruction are available throughout the year in a friendly, artistically stimulating environment. In summer, one-week classes focus on specific techniques. Workshops are taught by internationally recognized, Marilynn Nicholson. The rest of the year, the schedule includes hourly, half-day, full-day, weekend, and weekly classes, as well as guest artist workshops which vary from month to month. All of classes include introductions to metal artists, galleries, suppliers, and designer stone cutters.<br/>

Taos School of Cooking has interactive classes with top culinary talents and award-winning chefs who guide you through a variety of unique, educational, and highly entertaining lessons. Join Taos School of Cooking for a Lively Evening of Culinary Enlightenment. Taos School of Cooking hands-on cooking classes begin as TSCs guest chef shares with you their culinary background and experiences, followed by a discussion about the night's themed-menu; reviewing each recipe, talking about ingredients, and sharing helpful cooking tips. Class members then move into the new state-of-the-art kitchen, where hands-on tasks are performed in work groups while the chef guides and illustrates the evening's dinner productions of French, Italian, American, and Asian fare. After each group has prepared their masterpieces, you'll sit down to a meal of gourmet dishes, fine wines, and great company!!! Each of Taos Schools of Cooking's classes has a simple theme such as "Winter Braises and Stews", "Hot Wok", "One-Dish Wonders", "Luscious Lobster Cookery", "Savoring Salmon", taught by seasoned instructors like Emily Swantner and John Vollertsen of Las Cosas Cooking School in Santa Fe as well as Award-Winning Celebrity Chefs like Joseph Wrede of Joseph's Table, Eric Distefano of Geronimo's and Kevin Kapalka of the El Monte Sagrado Resort.
