Located at the center of Red River, the Ponderosa is within walking distance of shopping, dinner at your favorite restaurant, picking up that ski hat you forgot to bring, or taking a ride on the chairlift. You never have to use your car. Ponderosa Lodge features all queen-sized beds, in-room phones, full bath with double lavatories, color cable TV and beautiful newly remodelled furnishings. All of Ponderosa Lodge's suites feature stone fireplaces, full-size kitchens with oak cabinets and all dinnerware, cooking and eating utensils. Ponderosa Lodge rents basic motel rooms as well as one, two and three bedroom suites. Ponderosa Lodge's Lodge Suite can be rented as either a four or five bedroom unit. It comes equipped with an electric kitchen, oak dining room suite, extra large living room with fireplace and two color TV's. As a five bedroom unit this accommodates up to 14 people. The Ponderosa has the facilities to handle everything from a small family reunion to a large ski group. Helping put together an effective meeting is a Ponderosa Lodge forte.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
