Kathleen Brennan was drawn to visual art at an early age and began photography seriously at 15, using an old range finder camera that she bought with her allowance. Kathleen Brennan moved to Albuquerque in 1973 where she completed a degree in photography from the University of New Mexico. After moving to Colorado in 1984, Kathleen Brennan began experimenting with a variety of techniques, including hand-colored photographs, Polaroid transfers, photo silkscreens, photo collage and cyanotype. Her love for New Mexico called her back to Taos in 1992 where she now lives. When asked about her work, Kathleen replied, "I look for the abstract element in my work, the honesty and humor and the simple straightforwardness of peoples lives." Ms. Brennan's diverse body of work, ranging from portrait to documentary, and natural landscape to urban scenes provides an enduring testament to the transformative process of our world.

This site represents the awesome panoramic photographs of Gus Foster. He makes two or three mountain treks each year to photograph the highest peaks in US. Some aspects of this site are still developing, but it is a really good representation.<br/>

Susan M. Chandler's passion for taking black and white photographs, primarily of architecture and landscapes complements her love of travel. Many of her favorite photographs are from Paris, a city that draws me back. In summer 2002 Susan Chandler traveled to Namibia, Africa for a photo safari. Photographing the incredible wildlife was quite a departure. She had a solo exhibit of those photos at Art Divas Gallery in October 2002. Susan Chandler has recently photographed the islands of Crete, Maui, and Oahu. Her photographs are in private collections in Taos and across the country. Susan Chandler's primary camera is a Leica M6 Rangefinder with which she generally use a Leica Summicron F/2 50 mm lens. The quiet shutter of the M6 combined with exceptional lenses and top quality film and processing allow for detail to be brought out with superior clarity. I also carry a Leitz F/2.8 21 mm super wide-angle lens and a Leitz F/2.8 135 mm lens, with which she captured "African Eye ", the half-face of an elephant which charging our vehicle. Susan Chandler's pocket Leica zoom is invaluable in the outdoors because of its size and weight. She then enjoys enlarging her prints in her darkroom. Shown at Art Divas Gallery.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
