Cichon Fine Art Photography.Lucas’ photography has appeared in Major publications and has been displayed worldwide. Commercially, he has worked for a wide range of clients range from Hilton Hotels, Fortis Insurance, Office Depot, Sports Illustrated…. to The Milwaukee Art Museum. His efforts produce remarkably graceful, finely executed and amazingly beautiful photography that goes far beyond the traditional.

Degreed in business, computers and communications - trained in photography, art and music, Lucas uses his background and understanding of technology as an instructor of photography seminars and shares his experiences as a published columnist. Every image is toned black & white creating a mystical feeling and in some cases paired up with modern materials - metal, hardware, plexi or glass - presenting bold, sophisticated and exciting fine artwork, which is sought after by collectors and art enthusiastic around the world. Lucas has been profiled many articles and recently in “Professional Photographer” and “Studio Photography & Design”. To see more work visit lucascichon.com

For Kathie, a much-loved family photograph of a small boy and his sister, hand-painted in Chicago, at the turn of the 19th century, has turned into a journey of discovery and passion for the nostalgic appeal of overlaying color in layers over a photograph. Covering portions of an underlining black and white photo, enhancing but not changing the original print, creating moods with hints of tint, ultra color or fully painted effects. The drama is added by removing some color and letting the photograph peek through ..... tricking the eye and deceiving the brain.

Starting in 1973, Kathie has continually enhanced her vision though various educational endeavors. First taking courses at the University of Milwaukee, then graduating from MATC, and ending with her third degree from Concordia University. In 1999, Kathie switched her focus to hand colored photography and by 2001 she was one of the first hand colorists to use traditional hand coloring techniques on Black and White digital prints. Kathie’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States, and in portions of Europe and Asia. She has won numerous awards, been published and teaches workshops on hand coloring photographs. I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
