We already compared this songwriter with no one less than J.J. Cale. The first song Sunlight Kisses Burn the Chrome reminded me of “Traveling Light,” on J.J. Cale’s album “Troubadour,” but also songs like Shadow of the Blade, Book Of Sight and Sweet Darkness are written in the same relaxed atmosphere. The songs on SUNSET RIDE are about dishonest landlords (Tenant In the House of Life), heroin problems (Black Tar), Death (Building A Coffin) --- very melancholic, but always with a positive message and undertone. The album also has some beautiful love songs, road/car songs and nature songs (sunrise ...sunset). He plays all the instruments -- piano, guitar, etc and we love his approach. An addition to his beautiful oeuvre.” Bruno Depeyper, Rootstown Magazine, Belgium

Greg Harford received 4 years of intensive music instruction and training on the 36-stringed Paraguayan Harp, referred to in that country as "Arpa." He studied under Alfredo R. Ortiz who is recognized internationally as one of the greatest folk harpists of this time. He regularly tours South America, Europe and the U.S. Greg, who was raised in a family of Electrical Engineers and Computer Programmers, saw the possibilities in using his ethnic musical training for composing original and unusual music on the keyboard synthesizer. Greg Harford's music ranges from the delicate, beautiful syncopated melodies derived from Latin origin, to powerful complex rhythms, sending an ancient musical tradition into new and unexplored areas of futuristic music. Greg Harford's songs are constantly evolving into various shades of moods and expressions while still maintaining a sense of consistency of theme.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
