Murals

Giovanna Paponetti, a multi-talented Taos artist, is passionate about wildlife and history. These interests are manifested in several creative venues - the historical murals commissioned by the town, the delicately hand-painted wildlife images on drums, oil portraits of Native Americans, and unique photographic wildlife studies. Giovanna's 'creativity continues to expand as she helps promote a spirit of pride, heritage, and multicultural community tradition through her works.' Jerry Padilla, Writer, Taos, NM. Giovanna invites inquiries about commercial and residential mural commissions. See a photo of Giovanna is at work on the Taos Historical Timeline Murals, and more. I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
