The Abominable Snowmansion Lodge is an outdoor-oriented facility featuring spectacular views of New Mexico sunsets, occasional evening coyote choruses and contact with a small traditional Spanish community. Right across from the hostel is the Taos Indian Pueblo's sacred land. A short drive away is the famous Taos Ski Valley and Carson National Forest. Visit the 800-year-old adobe village at Taos Pueblo. The Snowmansion is a 60-year-old historic adobe lodge with large dorm rooms and private rooms with private baths. Come enjoy the company of international travellers and outdoor enthusiasts in the two-story dwelling. In the Abominable Snowmansion outdoor compound, stay in authentic tipis, rustic bunkhouses, or pitch your own tent on our grassy lawn. Guests of the Thunderbird Lodge and Chalet profess that our Old-World hospitality is as big a treat for them as the world-class skiing which awaits them each morning, just 100 yards away. The Main Lodge houses 24 rooms, our dining room, the Twining Tavern, a conference/recreation room, as well as two saunas, a hot tub and a massage room where you can ease your weary muscles after a long day on the slopes. The Chalet offers six additional units all with private baths and beds covered with cozy down comforters.<br/>

The Historic Town of Taos is a half hour drive away where you can visit art galleries, museums, Taos Pueblo, do more shopping, eat in superb restaurants and even play a round of golf. The Twining Condominiums are fully equipped units offering two sizes of accommodations.<br/>

Valley Condominiums is located in beautiful Red River. Valley Condominiums offer all the amenities to make your stay truly a vacation. All the units have fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, cable T.V., porches and balconies. Since each unit is individually owned, the decor varies from one unit to another. All of Valley Condominiums condominiums are two bedrooms (some even adjoin one another) and one unit has five bedrooms. Valley Condominiums has a great hot tub room with two luxurious tubs. At creek-side, there are picnic areas, BBQ grills, benches, and a playground. Valley Condominiums also has a fax machine available in the office.<br/>
