Information

In The candidates own words: "I am not a politician, just a concerned citizen who feels that he can truly make a positive difference in Taos County Government. I was born and raised in Taos and I love Taos. I am a single father, my son is six, and Taos is his future. We need to properly manage our County for today and the future as well as plan for tomorrow, both short and long term. Please review my platform and past experience and contact me if you have questions or comments. I truly appreciate your vote, thank you."

Doughbelly Price was a local real estate agent and professional "character" named. Doughbelly Price had been a chuckwagon cook and rodeo cowboy in his youth not long after the turn of the century, and had settled down in Taos to sell real estate and tell stories, some of which wound up in columns in the local newspaper and were eventually collected into books. Doughbelly Price was a scrappy little bantam of a man. Doughbelly Price's fame beyond Taos began in 1949 when Life magazine ran a profile of him.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.
