Houses - Tres Piedras

Ken Wolosin, general contractor, designed and built the two adobe houses in Tres Piedras that are available for vacation rental. These units are adjacent to the Carson National Forest and year-round recreational opportunities: horseback riding, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing. The houses are "horse-friendly," with corrals, horse sheds and room for horse trailers. Renters have seclusion, scenic beauty and easy access to the activities in Taos, located just 30 miles southeast. ouses - The houses are built out of adobe in the territorial style with pitched tin roofs. The furniture is custom made. Each house has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a day bed/couch in the living area, and a stored blow-up mattress if needed. Each bathroom includes a cast iron tub with shower. The houses are heated with wood stoves and solar orientation. Also included: TV, VCR, CD player, washer/dryer, and gas grill. The cupboards and baths are filled with all essentials. Horse Facilities - Each house has a horse shed, paddock and outdoor water spigot. The driveways are circular for the trailers.

I worked for them when I lived in NM. The etchings are from small copper plates, and the images are wonderful southwestern moments. The landscape and architecture that is captured, truly a gift from the past.

Great Site! This site has been around for a while. It moved July '08 from a small to a large ISP. The site will undergo a face lift as well as an upgrade to a new engine to 'run' the back end of it.

Thanks for including my site, although we are technically south of Taos by 50+ miles in Sapello NM
