Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. has been illustrating college textbooks since 1978, specializing in the area of geology and geography. In 1993 Tasa Graphic Arts began producing earth science educational computer software on CD-ROM. College professors, currently teaching these subjects, write the text portion of the programs for college level use. Additional editing by high school and grade school earth science teachers allow us to bring these subjects to the younger audience. The text is then incorporated into an interactive format on computer for students (or anyone with an interest in earth science) to use on an individualized learning basis. Each program presents a comprehensive, organized, interactive study of a specific area of earth science. These programs are intended to enhance the topics presented in earth science texts, through video clips, animated sequences, and activities. First the subject is introduced, then the user answers review questions, performs exercises, analyzes data, labels diagrams, plots graphs, learns terms from an illustrated glossary, and much more.
